Dialysis Centres in Jharkhand: Eskag Sanjeevani Dialysis
Eskag Sanjeevani operates certified dialysis centres in Jharkhand, inside Sadar hospitals, district hospitals, and a dedicated railway hospital unit, staffed by trained clinical teams and open every day. Our kidney care network covers Ranchi, Ramgarh, Chakradharpur, Saraikela, Sahibganj, Lohardaga, Latehar, Deoghar, and Godda, providing emergency dialysis care and scheduled renal treatment across the state.
Kidney Disease and Dialysis in Jharkhand
Jharkhand’s kidney disease burden is shaped by rising hypertension across urban and tribal populations, combined with limited specialist renal infrastructure outside Ranchi and Jamshedpur. Research from Santhal Parganas, Deoghar, documents that tribal communities in the region face compounded barriers to CKD management, poor road connectivity, limited health literacy, and a shortage of nephrology-trained staff.
Nationally, PMNDP has reached 748 districts with 27.28 lakh patients receiving dialysis as of February 2025. In Jharkhand, the quality of sessions at Sadar hospitals depends directly on who operates them. Eskag Sanjeevani’s presence across nine Sadar and district hospitals is built on one standard: every session, every district, same clinical protocols.

Dialysis at Chakradharpur Railway Hospital
Our unit at Divisional Railway Hospital, Chakradharpur, serves Indian Railways employees, their dependants, and patients from the surrounding community in the South Eastern Railway corridor. This is one of the few railway hospital-embedded kidney care centres for dialysis in Jharkhand, filling a specific institutional gap in the state’s western belt.
Standardised Clinical Protocols Across All Centres
Each session follows uniform protocols, RO water quality testing, machine preparation, vascular access management, anticoagulation, and post-session monitoring. Infection control is enforced identically across all nine units. A patient in Lohardaga or Godda receives the same supervised, protocol-driven care as one in Ranchi.
Free Dialysis Under PMNDP and Ayushman Bharat
Eskag Sanjeevani’s Jharkhand centres operate under the PMNDP framework at Sadar hospitals, making free dialysis available to BPL-eligible patients. Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) cardholders may also access cashless sessions at empanelled centres, subject to eligibility verification at registration. Carry your BPL card, Ayushman Bharat card if applicable, Aadhaar card, and a nephrologist’s referral when registering.
Visit with a nephrologist’s referral, Aadhaar card, and recent blood reports; registration and first-session scheduling are completed on the same visit.
We currently operate in Ranchi, Ramgarh, Chakradharpur, Saraikela-Kharswan, Sahibganj, Lohardaga, Latehar, Deoghar, and Godda, all inside Sadar or district hospitals.
Emergency dialysis is available at all Eskag Sanjeevani centres during operating hours, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily.
Yes. BPL-eligible patients at PMNDP-empanelled Sadar hospital centres access dialysis at no cost. Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) cardholders may access cashless sessions at empanelled units. Bring your card, Aadhaar, and nephrologist’s referral at registration for verification.
Scheduled dialysis refers to fixed weekly slots, typically three sessions per week, each 3-4 hours, as prescribed by a nephrologist. Emergency dialysis is an unscheduled session for patients in acute kidney distress, missed sessions, fluid overload, or sudden kidney function deterioration.
