Dialysis Centres in Uttar Pradesh: Eskag Sanjeevani Dialysis
Eskag Sanjeevani operates government dialysis centres across Uttar Pradesh, each unit inside a district combined hospital, staffed by trained clinical teams, and open every day. Our network covers Noida, Amethi, Shamli, Fatehpur, Bahraich, Unnao, Rampur, Kaushambi, and Balrampur, providing safe kidney care to patients across the state’s most underserved districts.
The Dialysis Crisis in Uttar Pradesh
Uttar Pradesh has an estimated 5 lakh kidney patients, yet over 80% never receive dialysis. Of those who begin treatment, only 5% maintain it consistently. Private dialysis in the state costs between ₹3,500 and ₹4,000 per session, making consistent treatment financially impossible for most households.
The gap between the need for dialysis and access to dialysis in UP is among the widest in India. Outside Lucknow, Kanpur, and a few major cities, patients in districts such as Bahraich, Amethi, Kaushambi, and Balrampur have had virtually no access to reliable dialysis hospitals in UP.
Affordable Dialysis Treatment in UP: Eskag Sanjeevani
Eskag Sanjeevani operates its UP centres under the Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Programme (PMNDP) in a PPP mode, making free dialysis available to BPL patients at district hospitals across the state. For patients not covered by PMNDP, per-session costs at our government-partnered centres are significantly lower than at private facilities in UP.
Established in 2004, Eskag Sanjeevani has conducted over 2 million dialysis sessions across 170+ centres in 16 states. Every UP centre operates under nephrologist-supervised protocols, staffed by trained dialysis technicians, addressing a critical gap identified by the Indian Journal of Nephrology within UP’s PMNDP network: inadequate supervision and poor dialysis quality at district hospitals.
Safe Kidney Care Units Across UP Districts
Every Eskag Sanjeevani unit in UP operates inside a government district combined hospital: Pandit Uma Shankar Dixit District Combined Hospital, Unnao; Azam Khan Memorial District Combined Hospital, Rampur; Kaushambi District Combined Hospital, Balrampur District Combined Hospital; and district hospitals in Shamli, Fatehpur, Bahraich, Noida (Gautam Buddha Nagar), and Mallik Muhammad Jaysi District Hospital, Amethi. Each is a safe, supervised kidney care unit.
Dialysis Clinic in Amethi: Serving Eastern UP Patients
Our unit at Mallik Muhammad Jaysi District Hospital, Assaidpur, Gauriganj, Amethi, is the only certified government dialysis clinic in the district. Patients from Amethi and surrounding blocks, who previously had no access to renal care without travelling to Lucknow, can now receive consistent haemodialysis locally, three times per week, without the cost and burden of long-distance travel.
Clinical Protocols and Supervision at Every Centre
A documented challenge across UP’s PMNDP network is inadequate clinical supervision, with sessions conducted by staff with limited training in renal care. Eskag Sanjeevani directly addresses this: every session across all UP centres follows standardised protocols covering RO water quality testing, vascular access management, anticoagulation, intradialytic monitoring, and post-session assessment, all under the oversight of nephrologists.
PMNDP Free Dialysis and Ayushman Bharat
BPL patients at Eskag Sanjeevani’s PMNDP-empanelled centres in UP access dialysis at no cost. Patients covered under Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) may also be eligible for cashless sessions at empanelled centres, subject to verification at registration. Carry your BPL card, Aadhaar card, and nephrologist’s referral when registering; our team will confirm eligibility and complete enrolment on the same visit.
Our centre is at Mallik Muhammad Jaysi District Hospital, Assaidpur Gauriganj, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh 227409, inside the government district hospital, open 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM every day. It is the only government-partnered dialysis unit in Amethi district.
Yes. Eskag Sanjeevani operates under the PMNDP in PPP mode across multiple districts in UP. BPL patients access dialysis at no cost at empanelled government district hospitals. Bring your BPL card, Aadhaar card, and referral from a government physician or nephrologist at registration for eligibility verification.
UP’s government dialysis network faces a documented problem of inadequate clinical supervision and inconsistent protocols. Eskag Sanjeevani’s centres operate under nephrologist-supervised, standardised clinical protocols at every session, the same standard applied across our 170+ centres nationally. Patients receive consistent, safe kidney care regardless of which district they are in.
We operate in Noida (Gautam Buddha Nagar), Amethi, Shamli, Fatehpur, Bahraich, Unnao, Rampur, Kaushambi, and Balrampur, all inside government district combined hospitals.
Dialysis is prescribed when eGFR falls below 15 mL/min/1.73 m², indicating end-stage renal disease. Clinical indicators include elevated serum creatinine, fluid overload, hyperkalaemia, and uraemic symptoms such as nausea, persistent fatigue, and significantly reduced urine output. Given UP’s high prevalence of diabetes and hypertension, patients with these conditions should have their kidney function screened annually.
Obtain a referral from a physician or nephrologist at your nearest government hospital. Visit the Eskag Sanjeevani unit with your referral, Aadhaar card, BPL or Ayushman Bharat card if applicable, and recent blood reports. Registration and slot allocation are completed on the same visit.
